A is for Angelica, my first novel, will be published on 1 September 2012 by Legend Press. And it’s all terribly marvellous. Click through and read on to find out more.
I’m back using the excellent Audioboo and intending to do so for the foreseeable future. I’ve always liked it, but never given it a proper go. My contributions are essentially nonsense combined with some sort of writing tip or suggestion. Tempted? Of course you are.
In the endless hunt for comments and pageviews, too much opinion and personal experience gets passed off as fact, when actually, us writers are in a very subjective business. There are few certainties and plenty of options.
I wrote about blogging. I won’t do it again, promise. Not for a while.
…moving to 70Decibels made this happen too.
Long time no post. I’ve been busy moving house and that kind of thing. Stressful business. Anyway, while I’ve been away, it so happens that the Write for Your Life podcast has been acquired for literally no money at all by the 70Decibels network. That means it’s going to be a weekly gig and I’ll have a trusty steed in Myke Hurley who’ll be on hand to co-host and produce the darn thing. I’m very grateful to him.
Head over an subscribe to the podcast now!
Something I wrote for Write for Your Life that you might find useful. Well, if you use Scrivener, anyway.
If you watch nothing else today, take two minutes to watch this breathtaking labour of love: a stop-motion film of books playing after closing time.
Delightful.
