The Biggest Mistakes Writers Make When Querying Literary Agents

Remember that video that went round the interweb a while ago called ‘Client versus Designer’? Well someone’s done one targeting aspiring novelist with delusions of grandeur. It’s okay, not especially funny, but one bit did startle me slightly.

Apparently, these days writers think that to be a writer you need a Mac. A Mac? I’m a fully paid up member of the Apple fan club, but I didn’t realise Macs were now associated with writers who want to be writers but probably aren’t ever really going to be writers.

Anyway, by wonderful coincidence, yesterday I posted a list of my own writing stereotypes.
