Go J Go Team Shirt Drive – 52 Tiger
My friend Stephen Hackett runs Forkbombr.net and is a contributing writer at Macgasm. He’s also got a son, Josiah, who’s been receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis for a brain tumor since May of 2009.
St. Jude hospitals are incredible places. They treat patients regardless of their ability to pay. Stephen writes, “Josiah’s medical bills — after just 6 months — totaled almost a million dollars. After a year, he was at just over $2 million.” Staggering.
In an effort to give back, Stephen commissioned a local artist to design Go J Go T-Shirts. All proceeds go directly to St. Jude Hospital in Memphis. Please join me in spending $18 on a shirt to support the hospital, Stephen and his son, Josiah. As St. Jude founder Danny Thomas said, “No child should die in the dawn of life.”
I don’t know Stephen personally, but I know a lot of people who do and I also know a good cause when I see one. Help if you can.
