Britarama by Jonathan Wilkinson
The distant rattle of a milk float. The gloom of a rainy afternoon. The buzz of a broken street lamp and the last bus home. Britarama is my fond meditation on the everyday details that I love about the British urban landscape.
Tonight I am going to see my good pal Johnny’s first exhibition, at Month of Sundays no less, Pete McKee’s gallery in Sheffield. Apart from being a good friend, I absolutely love his paintings.
